Kidbean is a "Green" Vegan, Earth-Friendly, Labor-friendly boutique offering the finest quality Vegan baby and childrens products. They have a fantastic selection, I didn't realize that there were so many Vegan friendly products out on the market. They carry Toys, Bedding, Diapers Foorwear and much much more. At Kidbean they take their research very seriously. They not only look for Vegan and earth-freindly products, because you can honestly find alot of those products out there, they even sell some organic clothing at Walmart now adays. What kidbean does differently is they also make sure that the labor used in creating the items they sell were treated fairly, meaning no child labor and decent wages. They check to see what type of organic certification (GOTS,CU etc.). They look for the impact of the packaging as well, is there plastic used in the packaging, chemicals etc. Lastly are all the ingreients safe for consumers, especially are little ones who we all know put thing in their mouths. After reasearching this company I am thouroughly impressed with what they have to offer and the ammount of work that obviously goes into their selection on products. These days organic is getting more and more popular and easier to find, but how many stores can you find that offer all that Kidbean does? Not many.

I had the opportunity to test two wonderfuly unique and fun toys from Kidbean. Different Drummer Workshop Unfinished Holey Roller Wooden Pull Toy for ages 1 and up. This toy is Handcrafted from soild unfinished pine. The neat thing about this pull toy is that its designed to be upright no matter what position its in, which is sooo cool because other pull toys my children have always seem to tumble over after they pull it a few feet, causing them to get super frustraited. This one is always upright no matter how they pull it, so your child never gets frustraited, what a neat idea, must have been a parent who thought of this product ;-). It's rather funny because my children are 2 and 4 and they both still had an amazingly fun time playing with this toy. While I must say it didn't keep their attention as long as it probobly would a child of 1 or 2 which it is more designed for they still had fun pulling it around the house. This toy retails for $14.00 but is currently on clearance for $10.50 which is a fantastic deal for a Vegan organic toy, better snatch this one up before it sells out. This would be a great Christmas present for that little one in your life or a shower gift for an expectant mother.
I also had the opportunity to test out another great push toy called the Mossy Creek Woodworks Unfinished Wooden Pushalong car/massager. This toy is intended for toddlers who love to push things, it also makes a great massager for older kids, pregnant women and jsut about anyone who likes a decent massage. This toy is handmade from solid hardwood cherry and was inspired by traditional American folk toys and are made from rural Arkansas. Both my children simply LOVED pushing this car aroun d, especially my two year old daughter, although my 4 year old son keeps comendearing it to add to his collection of matchbox cars, LOL He loves ALL cars, no matter size, shape, color. So we have had a few brawls over this toy, I might have to go online and order a second if I want to get some sanity restored to my household. My family has enjoyed playing with these toys for the past few weeks and I know they will enjoy them from years to come. The pull toy is a bit young for my children so I've decided to donate it to a needy family that cannot afford their own toys this year. They have a 1 year old little girl and I think this toy would be a perfect match. It makes me feel amazing not only to be able to help someone but to know they are getting the very best quality product out there.
I cannot say enough about the toys we received and about this fantastic company I have discovered. They have so many quality items to choose from at affordable prices. They even have a large selection of sale and clearance items.
Kidbean has graciously offered these same toys to two lucky readers of Medicated Mama. I will choose via random.org two winners, each will win one of these two fantastic toys.
