iKnow Animals, Letters & Sounds Reading System Review and Giveaway

iKnow Animals, Letters & Sounds Reading System Review and Giveaway

This contest is closed, Winner is clallen, they have 48 hours to respond.

I was given the fantastic opportunity to test and review this wonderful DVD set and letter cards. It is a Great Beginning Reading System for children ages 3-6, This set makes learning to read fun and exciting. They not only learn about letters and the sounds they make they also learn about animals too. It comes with a 3 set DVD from the San Diego Zoo , a set of ABC cards so they can touch and see the letters and animals, and access to online games.

Music plays throughout the entire DVD collection which consists of the Rain Forest DVD, Africa DVD and San Diego Zoo DVD. These are designed to take the children on an adventure where learning comes to life. Children love animals and this set combines animals, letters and sounds beautifully and uniquely and is perfectly age appropriate, It kept my children's attention (ages 2 and 4) which is not an easy thing to do.

Take Pride Learning believes that children learn best when they are engaged in the learning process and can realize they are doing something worth while. The wonderment of learning must be acknowledged and nurtured as a child's brain has an incredible ability to absorb knowledge and information. This belief is the basis and philosophy behind the IKnow beginning Reading System.

My son is already reading and writing but I've found this set to be helpful in providing him a fun, exciting and new way to practice the skills he has already learned. My daughter who is only two is just starting to learn her letters and sounds and this set has substantially helped her advance in her skills and it really seems to engage her too. She adores the beautifully illustrated animals and seeing them in their environments. I liked that they show the animals in their actual environments because right now my kids think most animals live in cages at the zoo. They show the animal and next to it the spelling of the animal, helping them associate the word with the animal. They combine Video, music and sounds beautifully to help teach the child. As a family we are very environmentally conscious and I truly believe this is helping both my children to learn more about nature and how important and fragile it really is. I think this is an excellent reading system and I would definitely recommend it to young beginning readers. This kept my children's attention and provided them with hours and hours of excitement, learning and entertainment. The Very best thing about this system is that is extremely reasonably priced. You can get the DVD and card set for $49.99. I've purchased other learning sets, which I feel are compatible for over $100, so this to me is a deal.

I learned Why It Works: "Children are naturally curious about animals and far away places. We designed iKnow Animals, Letters & Sounds to present children with the opportunity to learn beginning reading concepts, oral language and listening skills while simultaneously helping the animals and the planet. The connection children make to the animals inspires them to continue to progress through the stages of language development."
